Bright Goods Limerick Posted on 12 May 00:00
Today, 12 May, marks National Limerick Day which celebrates the birthday of Edward Lear - an English poet. Edward was well-known for his literary nonsense in poetry, prose and limericks. Limericks were popularised in Edward's 1846 book 'The Books of Nonsense". A limerick follows the pattern on AA-BB-A.
To celebrate National Limerick Day, we have come up with our own limerick.
See our Bright Goods LED filament lights
In Nando's where they shine so bright
Hanging above you as you tuck into your food
